Michael Pounsford
Mike has 20 years consulting experience in employee research, organisation change, human resources and marketing. His experience covers and wide range of industries and geographies. He is a proven leader who founded the successful Internal Engagement Consultancy, Couravel, in November 2001. Couravel now employs a team of more than 20 people with powerful communication and engagement skills
Prior to founding Couravel, Mike built WPP Group’s brand engagement consultancy, Banner McBride. He was also a Director of the Organisation Effectiveness Practice of Alexander Consulting Group. Mike began his own consulting career with Towers Perrin, where he became a leader of their European Employee Research Practice.
Mike is known for his creative and innovative approach to employee engagement, change management and brand engagement issues. His warmth, realism, pragmatic approach and flexible style is proven to deliver tangible results from the top of organisations and filtering through all levels of employees.
Mike has an MBA from the London Business School, and has also worked for the School’s Centre for Management Development.
